CDAM Research Report, LSE-CDAM-2004-17November 2004 |
Joseph A. Ball and Amol J. Sasane
Abstract
In this note it is shown that the topology of the gap metric is precisely the topology induced by the behavioral distance introduced in Sasane (Distance between behaviours, International Journal of Control, 76:1214-1223, 2003), when restricted to the class of stable state space systems with a fixed MacMillan degree.
